Los Angeles was named as the location for a $1 billion museum that will honor the career of Star Wars-famed director George Lucas.
Winning out over Lucas’ hometown of San Francisco, the L.A. site “will celebrate the power of visual storytelling in a setting focused on narrative painting, illustration, photography, film, animation and digital art,” according to the project’s website.
May 4, 2020 is the current build-by date, so the force will have to wait a few more years to be with you.
