For those of us who believe cleaning to be a useless activity — myself included — a man from Oregon has pretty much destroyed that theory.
Joemel Panisa was snowed in and used this time to clean his home office that he had been neglecting for a while, and wouldn’t you know it that he found a Mega Millions lottery ticket that won $1 million.
The ticket, which was eight days away from expiration, was purchased by Panisa on January 15, 2016.
Kinda makes you want to check through that stack of papers on the end table, doesn’t it?
